Parental Engagement
At Foxfield, community and partnership are at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe that working hand in hand with our families is essential to helping every child thrive, grow, and achieve excellence. Because parents and carers are a child’s first and most influential educators, our strong home school connections ensure that every child feels fully supported both in the classroom and at home.
To foster this collaborative spirit, we are proud to offer a diverse schedule of high-quality parental engagement sessions throughout the academic year. Our dedicated parent workshops cover a wide range of topics designed to equip you with practical tools and insights. These sessions delve into key learning milestones including early reading and phonics, building reading fluency and preparing for the Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) while also providing a strong focus on inclusion, child health and wellbeing. To support your family holistically, we regularly collaborate with visiting health based specialists, mental health practitioners and sleep experts to offer guidance on topics ranging from sleep routines and emotional regulation to navigating key educational transitions.
Alongside our structured workshops, we invite all of our families to join us for our regular coffee mornings, known as Connect, Share & Chat. These informal gatherings offer a warm, friendly space to relax over refreshments, meet other parents and members of our team, share experiences, and build lasting community ties. Whether you are seeking expert advice from a visiting specialist, looking for practical ways to support your child's progress at home, or simply hoping to connect over a cup of coffee, there is always a place for you at Foxfield.
