Foxfield Primary School

SuperKind at Foxfield

At Foxfield, we are committed to an education beyond the classroom. We believe in nurturing pupils who are not only academically successful but are also compassionate, socially conscious global citizens. To support this mission, we are proud to use Superkind, a social action platform for schools. By integrating Superkind into our curriculum, we are ensuring that every child leaves us with graduates with more than just knowledge - they leave with purpose, empathy, and drive to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Being awarded Social Action School status is a proud milestone that reflects our school community's commitment to driving positive change beyond the school gates. This recognition celebrates an environment where empathy, responsibility, and active citizenship are woven directly into everyday learning. This work holds profound value for our school, where a high proportion of our children come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Engaging in social action provides these young people with vital opportunities to build confidence, discover their unique voices, and realise that they have the power to shape the world around them, regardless of their starting point.

This award is a continuous promise to keep empowering every child to be a leader. It highlights our dedication to narrowing the opportunity gap by nurturing compassionate, resilient leaders who recognise their own agency and leave our school fully prepared to make a lasting, positive footprint on the world.

We are immensely proud to share that Foxfield Primary School received a letter of commendation from our local MP, Abena Oppong-Asare (Member of Parliament for Erith and Thamesmead).

In her letter, Ms Oppong-Asare praised our pupils for their fantastic community action over the past year and highlighted our partnership with SuperKind. She commended the children's kindness, generosity, and teamwork, noting how their dedication to helping others is making a genuine positive difference in our school, the local community, and the wider world. It is wonderful recognition for our pupils, who continue to set an inspiring example for us all.
