Inclusion Quality Mark 'Centre of Excellence'
At Foxfield Primary School, inclusion is not just a policy or an isolated initiative; it is the defining principle that shapes everything we do. We are incredibly proud to share that our deeply rooted commitment to equity and belonging has been formally recognised with the Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) Inclusive Schools Award, alongside the prestigious designation as an IQM Centre of Excellence. These achievements reflect a school community where care and ambition are held together with absolute integrity alongside a culture of unconditional positive regard for all.
The Inclusion Quality Mark is a nationally recognised framework that assesses schools on their inclusion values, leadership, curriculum and community partnerships. The Inclusive Schools Award validates that a school successfully provides equal opportunities for all learners, regardless of their starting points, abilities, or backgrounds, embedding inclusion into the very fabric of daily operations. The Centre of Excellence status is a higher tier of recognition reserved for schools that not only meet these rigorous standards but also demonstrate the capacity to sustain this practice and actively share their expertise with the wider educational community, serving as a beacon of best practices.

The IQM assessor noted:
"The school’s core values are visibly lived out in the interactions between staff, pupils, and parents."
"Foxfield is a school with an 'ethic of excellence' for every child, regardless of their starting point or background."
"The curriculum does not just teach children what to think, but how to think, empowering them as global citizens."
"There is no ceiling placed on any child’s potential, and the data proves that disadvantaged pupils thrive equally alongside their peers."
"Behaviour is understood as communication, and pupils are met with a restorative approach that preserves their dignity and offers a fresh start every day."
