Foxfield Primary School

Foxfield Pantry

At Foxfield, the Foxfield Pantry is a vital part of our school community. We believe that every family deserves access to fresh, nutritious food, which is why each week our pantry offers a selection of freshly baked wholesome breads, fruits and vegetables lovingly grown and chosen by our children directly from our own Community Garden and a reliable supply of tinned store cupboard essentials. By bridging our outdoor learning with community care, the Foxfield Pantry continually gives back to our special community while teaching our pupils the value of sustainability, empathy, and kindness.

Join us every week in the KS2 Playground, where all Foxfield families are welcome to come along, pick up what they need or learn more about how to get involved.

Our community focussed approach was recognised when we were awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark Centre of Excellence.

“The school’s links with the local, wider and global community are extensive and purposeful. It operates as a genuine community hub, providing support, opportunities and enrichment that extend beyond the classroom.”

Our community focussed approach was recognised when we were awarded Nurture UK National Nurturing Schools Award (NNSA)

“Foxfield’s commitment to relational and community-centred practice is powerfully illustrated through its wider work beyond the school gates, where nurture is extended into meaningful, practical support for families. This ethos is captured in the words of one parent who reflected, “This is a very good community-based school. They really get it. It is so much more than a school; it is the actual community.” This statement strongly reflects the lived reality of Foxfield’s approach, where the school is experienced not only as an educational setting but as a trusted and integral part of the local community. The first touchpoint of support for many families.”
